If you order food to a hotel, guesthouse, or apartment in Korea, the most useful sentence is 문 앞에 놔 주세요: "Please leave it at the door." But first, you need to enter the correct address, choose 배달 rather than 포장, and know what to say if the rider calls.
Check whether your accommodation allows food delivery and where riders should meet guests. Also confirm that the app or restaurant accepts your phone number, payment method, and address before building your order.
Delivery or pickup?

On a restaurant screen, 배달 brings the food to your address. 포장 means you collect it yourself. If delivery is unavailable or building access is complicated, pickup may be the easier option.

Read 최소 주문 금액 and 배달비 before checkout. If an item shows 품절, it cannot currently be ordered.

Some accommodations ask guests to meet riders in the lobby or outside, even if the app offers a door-drop option.
Write the delivery request
The request box is usually labeled 요청사항.

Choose instructions that match the building rules. 문 앞 is your unit door; 1층 입구 is the building entrance; 로비 is the lobby.

중 means "in progress." You will also see it in phrases beyond delivery, such as 사용 중 ("in use") and 확인 중 ("being checked").

The first words may be fast, but listen for 배달, 도착, 건물 앞, and 비밀번호. Those tell you why the rider is calling.

If you cannot explain the entrance, 지금 내려갈게요 is often the cleanest response. Move only to the meeting place allowed by your accommodation.
If the restaurant calls about the order

Catch 품절, then decide: 바꿔 주세요 ("please change it"), 빼 주세요 ("please remove it"), or 취소할게요 ("I'll cancel").
For allergies, do not assume a request note guarantees that an ingredient can be removed or that cross-contact is prevented. Contact the restaurant and confirm the exact ingredient before ordering.
A complete rider call
Rider: 배달 기사인데요. 도착했는데 공동현관 비밀번호가 뭐예요?
You: 잠시만요. 제가 지금 내려갈게요.
Rider: 네. 건물 앞에 있을게요.

If the address is unclear:

You do not need to describe every turn. Choose a clear meeting point or resend the Korean address.
