You walk into a café in Korea and order an "iced Americano." The drink is familiar, but the Korean on the menu looks longer: 아이스 아메리카노. If you listen for the English rhythm, you may miss the same words when a barista repeats them.
The useful shortcut is to read the Hangul you see. 아이스 has three audible parts, 아-이-스. 아메리카노 has five, 아-메-리-카-노. You don't need to give every part the same robotic beat, but you do need to keep the vowels instead of reducing them as you might in English.
Start with the two menu words

Why 아이스 is longer than "ice"
The English word ice is one syllable. The Korean loanword 아이스 is written in three blocks: 아, 이, and 스. The last block matters. If you stop after 아이, you have not finished the menu word.

Keep all five parts of 아메리카노
English stress can make one part of a word much stronger than the others. In Korean, do not let that strong beat erase the surrounding vowels. 아메리카노 needs all five written parts.

Once the two words are clear, attach the quantity and 주세요. You can use the same frame for another drink without changing the pronunciation lesson.

디카페인 is four blocks: 디-카-페-인. Keep 페 and 인 separate rather than compressing the ending. 테이크아웃 is five: 테-이-크-아-웃. Reading what is written will usually help more than trying to make it sound English.
Hear the choice the barista is checking
A barista may repeat part of your order or ask whether you want the drink iced. Listen for 아이스 near the beginning of the question.

Notice the connected pronunciation in 테이크아웃이요. The final ㅅ of 아웃 moves to the following vowel and sounds like 시: 아우시요. Practice the menu word by itself first, then learn the connected phrase as one unit.
