Without a rental car in Jeju, confirm three things before each move: 이 버스 ___ 가요? ("Does this bus go to ___?"), 갈아타야 해요? ("Do I need to transfer?"), and 돌아오는 막차가 몇 시예요? ("What time is the last bus back?"). For the last section, show a taxi driver the Korean place name and ask 여기까지 가 주세요 ("Please take me here").
Jeju routes and schedules can change. Check the live route for your travel date on the official Jeju Bus Information System and use the Korean below to read the result and confirm it at the stop.

The official system lists several route categories, including express, trunk, branch, airport-limousine, and tourist-loop services. The category alone does not tell you whether the bus reaches your exact stop; check the 노선번호, direction, and stop list.

Two buses with similar numbers may travel in different directions or follow different branches. Compare 운행방향 and 종점, then check whether your stop appears in the route list.

The answer 건너편에서 타세요 means "Board on the opposite side."
Understand arrival and schedule words

10분 후 도착 예정 means the bus is expected in ten minutes. 운행 종료 means that service has ended; it does not mean the bus is merely delayed.

You may hear a multi-step answer:

Catch the structure ___에서 내려서 ___번으로 갈아타세요: get off at one place, then transfer to a numbered bus.
If you did not catch the place, ask 어디에서 내린다고요? ("Where did you say I should get off?").

The driver may answer 두 정거장 더 가세요 ("Go two more stops") or 다음에 내리세요 ("Get off at the next stop").
At the stop, check the walking section too. 도보 15분 means a 15-minute walk; it does not describe the road, slope, or weather conditions.

Use the card reader when boarding and follow the local system's instructions when getting off. If the reader says 잔액이 부족합니다, ask 교통카드 충전할 수 있는 곳이 어디예요? ("Where can I recharge my transit card?").
Use a taxi for the last section
Show the destination in Korean. A place name in English may not match what the driver sees in navigation.

Answer with a visible landmark: 매표소 앞이에요 ("I'm in front of the ticket office"), 정류장 옆이에요 ("I'm next to the bus stop"), or 1번 입구예요 ("It's Entrance 1").
