You do not need KakaoTalk for every Korea trip, but it is useful when a host, friend, class, meetup, or business asks to contact you there. Learn these four actions: 친구 추가 (add friend), 카톡 보내기 (send a message), 단톡방 확인 (check the group chat), and 카카오톡 문의 (KakaoTalk inquiry).
